People often ask what “style” of worship is practiced at The Vine. Is it traditional, contemporary, high church, or emerging? The answer to that question is easy…yes and no. We believe there is no one style that is more right than another as long as it is true to God’s Word, brings His love to repentant sinners, and gives them a chance to respond in praise. Therefore, we do those things we are gifted to do well, pulling from many genres, playing and singing ancient hymns as well as songs you may have heard on the radio, and speaking both ancient liturgies and those we write ourselves.
In all things, we embrace the mysteries of God in our worship. We celebrate and remember His gift of baptism in which He claims us as His and says Jesus is for us. There is no dress code in our worship services. You will find some men in jeans and others wearing ties, women in t-shirts and others in dresses, and some kids in shorts and others wearing khakis. Please come as you are.
